MADjam

Dave Moldover made an 11th hour decision to bring back a post-Covid MADjam for 2022. In January, he contacted us with the task of refreshing the design and updating the content for the March event. We accomplished both in a matter of weeks, and opened Registration right on schedule.

CT WCS Calendar

Kristen Shaw had a valuable community resource — a CT dance calendar of weekly and monthly area WCS happenings. But she needed to make it available to a wider audience. So we created an attractive web page with an intuitive interface that works on desktop — and on the go!

Rising Star Tour

In 2023, NASDE stepped up to incorporate the Rising Star Tour under its umbrella. We were assigned the role of keeping the schedule and graduate content updated. Later the same year, we redesigned the entire website.

Boston Tea Party

Event Director Nanette Sulik reached out to Viva Design Studio to update the Boston Tea Party website in preparation for the 2024 return of BTP after a 4 year hiatus! VDS is always happy to assist a Jersey friend! New Staff and bios, new schedules, lots of cross-over swing fun!

Michigan Classic

Kendra Zara and Ward Roberts came to VDS with exciting news– they were the new event directors for Michigan Classic. Their concern: Could VDS create a brand new, fully functional website before tickets went on sale? Two weeks? Absolutely!

Rose City Swing

Rose City sample page

Rose City Swing is a concept with one thing in mind: sharing our passion in dance. We are here to help spread the love, joy, and creative spirit of our community.

Charlotte WestieFest

As Rick Dauss’ Charlotte WestieFest event grew, so did his need for a new website. Using our Trilogy Swing design as a starting framework for the new website, Viva has been working toward the goal it holds for all our event websites– to make it a valuable resource for Rick as an Event Director, and for his dancers seeking insightful information about the event.

WSDC

The Council approached Viva Design Studio with a request to add two new event forms to the site. What we discovered was a neglected backend with outdated WP, plugin and themes, plus no backup file. We carefully constructed a staging site that included the original, extensive functional php customizations, performed all the necessary version updates, and created the new forms. Viva will be responsible for ongoing maintenance and content creation for the WSDC site.
